Success stories

1. How did you come across ASPIRE?

Back in 2007 I joined Bromley fc and met Kads and Gavin. They were both good influences on me as I knew they had both been a part of the game for a long time. They helped me in situations, on and off the field.

2. Tell us about your playing career before ASPIRE?

I was playing for slough town after being released by Oxford united at 18. After a year or so at slough I broke my leg and was out the game for 6 months which was a massive blow.

3. How did ASPIRE help you?

Aspire helped me as I was away from home at 18 and taken a chance at Bromley without knowing anything about the club, area etc. There were other aspects of my game which they would help with and decisions between football and university.

4. Where are you playing now?

I'm currently playing for nottingham forest fc.

5. What do you do outside football?

Outside of football I'm normally at home with my little boy, or whenever there's a couple of days off I will head back to Oxford to see family and friends.

6. What advice would you give a young player?

The best advice I can give is no can ever tell you your not good enough. As long as you have the belief and commitment to reach goals you have set anything is possible, coming from a lot of rejections and setbacks through my career I'm proof as are a lot of professionals that perseverance is key.
